Hi! My name is Charlene Bechard and I am a Specialist Wellness Counsellor, accredited with the ASCHP. I am also an ADHD & Executive Functioning Coach. Why Meliorem Wellness as a name, you may ask? Meliorem is Latin for ‘to improve’. When we are feeling low, burned-out and out of sorts, if we can take someone’s hand can improve, and get better, a little bit every day.

I have a passion for children who are neuro-divergent and about finding solutions for them both in counselling and in the coaching space. I work collaboratively with other specialists as a team wherever possible. In your child’s counselling journey, I also take time to work through issues with you, as their caregivers.

In addition to counselling children, I also specialise in trauma counselling for adults going through struggles related to work, marriage and divorce. The first step toward healing is booking a consultation with someone you can trust. I hope that I can be that someone to you as I listen without judgement and walk this journey with you. I can’t count the number of times a client has said “I’ve never told this to anyone before…” Let me share your burdens so they may become lighter.
